Another version of operator stupidity

Well, can anyone help? I use UFT 3.0 on Windows 98 and have since it came out and it works well. UNTIL, I had to reformat my hard drive this past week. My computer problem wouldn't let me access UFT to back it up properly, so I used the "click and drag" method in Windows Explorer to save the files to a ZIP disk. I saved ALL the files in the UFT directory to the ZIP disk and upon getting my computer back together, I reversed the process to my C drive. All 10,600 names were there and their corresponding dates, BUT the "Places" are not showing. Wherever I had a place name before, now it says "place missing from library". If I had no place entered it correctly says "an unknown location". Can anyone tell me if it is possible to recover my "Places"?

I am still doggedly hanging on to UFT 3.0 until something better comes along, but I don't think it is here yet? I didn't care too much tor TMG.

Well, my thanks and best wishes to anyone who might be able to help. My e-mail address is JamesALandrum@msn.com.
