When you did the Gedcom, did you use the Family 5.5 option? This is what you want to use when transferring info to another genealogy program, I believe. But even at that, Gedcom exports the basic events (B, M, D and Burial) in addition to family links; thus minimal data from UFT will be transported to FTM. Unfortunately, I don't know what to tell you about moving to FTM...good luck!
