UFT 2.7 Upgrade or Replace?

I have been using UFT 2.7 for several years. Moved it from Windows 98 to two copmputers, one with Windows XP and one with 2000/NT. With some tweaking it installed perfectly. Although 2.7 can handle up to 54 generations on some reports, others are limited to 16. My data recently jumped to 27 generations. Can any of the later versions (3.0, 11, etc.) handle 27 or more on ALL reports & lists? If so, are upgrades or CD's still available? I know that UFT is no longer on the market, and replacement is the last resort. I think I would like Family Tree Maker but it's not compatible with Windows 2000 or NT, and The Master Genealogist looks tough (although the Gold edition will transfer UFT data). Any suggestions?
