You didn't mention which operating system you are using, so if your problem continues mention that.
In general, going into Control Panel>Display Properties and selecting Small Fonts will make UFT usable.(Normal fonts in XP = Small fonts in Win 9x, 96dpi) Of course you only get that dpi if you have an old Mac with a certain screen size, but that is another story.
In general, resolutions above 800 x 600 and/or too large font selection in Win Display properties can cause problems. Whatever you do, don't try to make Fonts bigger than "Large". If you think you have problems with UFT, try making a global change to 200% font size (in Win display Properties)and then backing out. If you are lucky, you will get it fixed, but only by becoming very familiar with Regedit and XP Safe Mode without actually being able to see what you are doing.
