Why not try TMG for yourself. You can get a free trial of TMG at http://www.whollygenes.com/files/tmg5setup.exe

TMG does transfer all of the UFT data into the same type of Tag (Event) that is presently used in UFT. It is very good at using the same or very similar custom sentence structures as UFT. If you would like to see a comparison of data items transferred using TMG GenBridge vs. GEDCOM you can down load and look at the file http://www.whollygenes.com/files/uft2tmg.pdf which was build using UFT as an example of this technology.
