With all due respect, it may depend on what the meaning of is is. As I recall, a few months ago FTM was indeed being described as an upgrade to UFT on Uftree.com. At least one user coomented on this forum at the time.

But what may be important now is whether any version of FTM has a beta version of a UFT Project file data conversion utility inside that is deleting old UFT Project data files after they are converted.

Let's keep an open mind on this. Mr. Heath states that he did have UFT Project files on his computer until he purchased FTM 11 + 11.2 upgrade and opened them in FTM. Then he no longer had UFT Project files. He also states that he has never created a Gedcom.

Lets keep an open mind on this for a few days. Not for me. I don't make backups and I don't care. But some people do.
