Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Emil-
The only way to export your data from UFT in a format readable by FTM 11 is by GEDCOM. (See UFT Help).

If the Export/Import process is satisfactory, you will be on your way with a different, although not necessarily better, genealogy program. If you have an early version of UFT 2.x, you *may* get slightly better GEDCOM data transfer to FTM 11 after installing the free UFT 2.8 update.

A current site for downloading the UFT 2.8 update may be found in threads below by scanning them visually or doing a search in the box above, left.
Good luck,
John
