I am, regrettably continuing the use of this software. I do it because I continue to feel it is the best thing out there, however, as you know it is now missing in action as far as a web site goes.
I am coming to you, in hopes you may have heard something about what has transpired. I have had a huge web page with them for four years, and feel totally lost without availability to share data. Is there even an "OUTSIDE" possibility these servers are going to resurface? I had read they were moving to Utah, but they must be like that lost caravan up in the Sierra's, and everyone is devouring one another.
I saw this entry you wrote to inquire about a burning of a CD, and think perhaps you can help me out. I have been unable for months since upgrading my computer, much faster MHZ than the 350 MHZ, and continue to have problems with FOXPRO blowing me out while it is attempting to convert to WORD format. It takes nearly 1 1/2 hours for over 5000 pages to compile, and then continues onward to link 800 photos to their correct people. Just when it should open up the WORD file for the Family Journal, it blows out with Foxpro. I don't know how to get around this, and wondered if 3.10 upgrade addresses the Foxpro, speed issue?????
I have XP operating system, and just cannot understand with Version 3.0 UFT why I continue to have FOXPRO problems. Did you at one time download a patch for the 350 MHZ speed problem? How is it that you have no trouble running a compile and conversion to WORD? I want to print out the entire database this winter, and also burn a CD, but need to get past this MAJOR problem.
I would certainly love to hear from you as to what you may think about these issues. Any help would be immensely appreciated.
