John, thanks again for your help. I went by your instructions downloaded the pdf995 file to which I printed the Journal and was able to open it in Acrobat Reader. From Acrobat Reader I was able to burn the Journal directly onto a CD. As a test I only did 22 pages to see if I could do it. I will now see if the complete Journal will fit on one CD together with the endnotes and index. You were a life saver. I will be forever grateful.
