Hello Tammie,
When you click on Unzip in the self-extractor you will get the message "2 file(s) unzipped successfully".
The files will have been placed in the folder specified in the self-extractor box under "Unzip to folder" - either the default, which is probably c:\\windows\temp, or whatever folder you have nominated in its place.
If you open that folder in Windows Explorer you will see the files there. If you double click on the readme file it will open (probably in Notepad, Wordpad or your word processor program). You can then print the file contents and follow what it says to install the patch.
