Don't scrap the upgrade, but you probably should re-install the older version (it should be 2.9 or 2.8 (the latter is available as a free upgrade to older versions). Make sure you specify a different/new directory for the re-install, e.g. "UFT28". Many of us need the old version to produce proper Family Journal reports, which don't work correctly under 3.0 if you have embedded text citations. Your database does not have to be in the same directory as the UFT that you are running (mine is in my old ROOTS IV directory, and I still run ROOTS IV on data I maintain under UFT 3.0).
I hope Blue gets a fix out soon, now that he knows where he made the mistake. (And maybe we could have some other fixes too.)
