Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Ruth and Bob,

Thanks for your help. The solution (after re-indexing) was to delete the errant footnotes and re-enter them. Then they printed. There must have been invisible characters in the original entries that prevented them from printing.

What did we do before we had all this help from the web?

Ken
