Hi, I happened onto your post today. My 3rd great grandfather was a James Tyson who was born in Va and moved to Kirkland, Belmont Co, Ohio. I don't have too much information on him, but know he was in the War of 1812 and he received the land in Ohio as a result of his service. (Bounty Land Warrant) His wife was a Margaret or Mary and as far as I can tell they had at least 3 children, Emily, James and Nelson. He can be found in the 1850 and 1850 census in Kirkland. Do you think this is the same guy? Would appreciate any info you have on the Va family.

Thanks,
Cindy Martin
