Hello David,
I am Susan Tyrer of a Liverpool Tyrer family. This is what I've found out so far, although I havn't long started my research:
I have recently found out that my G-Grandfather was Henry George Tyrer. He was married to Mary Christina Packwood and had a son Tom (my grandfather), born 27th August 1894, and a daughter Charlotte (birth date not known).
They lived at 291 Fountains Road, Kirkdale, Lancs. I believe Mary died young and Henry remarried. My grandfather, Tom, left home at the tender age of 14 due to poor relations with his new stepmother and therefore lost all contact with his father. Henry may have gone on to produce more children with his new wife, thus people researching Henry would probably not know about Tom and Charlotte. I am at a dead end and hope someone can shed some light on Henry George Tyrer. PLEASE!!!!
