Origins of Tyrer

For those of you interested! The origin of TYRER is Norman French (originally spelt TERRER). They were exiled from France before the Norman Conquest of Britain and after pillaging their way through Northern England, settled in the county of Lancashire - before spreading out to other parts of the country and the world.

Other sources have suggested that TYRER originates from one family in Lancashire.

Very old family indeed!
