The "The Tyree Trail" and "The Tyree Tree" do not list a Dr. Benjamin Tyree. However I was reminded that I have a very distant relative with that name who was a doctor. Benjamin is listed with his family in the 1880 Howell County Missouri census as 16 years old. The Book "History of Maries County" mentions him as "Benjamin, the other child born here, graduated in medicine and married a lady named Cobb; they moved to either Oklahoma or Texas, where he was killed". Benjamin's father Saterwhite was also a doctor. This book does contain some errors so the wife's name might be an error or maybe Elizabeth was his second wife. I have not researched this Benjamin. He is the grandson of James Harvey Tyree who is a brother of my gg grandfather Satterwhite Tyree.
