Nancy, I just now saw your post. I have also been trying to find articles about these boys. They were my grand fathers uncles. Murrill was the oldest and Roland was the youngest. It seems some men took roland from his fathrs home, shot and buried him. When Murrill found out about it he and some of his friends went after the murderers, Killing one and wounding two others. They were arrested but for some reason Murrill was kept in jail under guard. during the night the guard was overpowered Murrill taken out of jail and hung. This took place in Montomgery Co.
