I have the parents of Mary Jane LAKES, b. 13 Jan 1835, m. Henry S. ISAACS (My source says the S. is for Socktel--another says it stands for Socktoe) I am decended from Mary Jane and Henry's daughter Anice who married John Stubblefield LAKES, sister to your Leanna ISAACS who married Brown TYRA 30 Aug 1901. Leanna and Anice also had a sister, Charlotte who married a Jess TYRA on 23 Nov 1895, Jackson, KY. I am wondering if these TYRA boys were brothers? what information do you have on them? would be intrested in corresponding with you... as a side note, my John Stubblefield LAKES was supposed to be named after the Dr. or midwife that delivered him. He was born in Jackson, KY. have you looked there for your Stubblefield family? lets talk again, Kathy
