Joseph Preston Kilgore/Martha A. Milton or "tyree" (Native American) Cherokee or Choctaw Tribe relation.

Kilgore/Tyree/Tyre Connection - Cherokee or Choctaw Nations
Martha Tyree pronounced one of many ways. Verbal records were mostly kept but we know she was full-blooded Native American. I am trying to gather info, which has stumped us for along time on the following family members and their relatives.
60-80 years ago, my relatives remember various spellings that were jogged down on how they heard or remembered the Martha name stated as such "Tyree or Tyra" was one way it was spelt. On numerous accounts the recalled these spellings Martha A. Milton (adopted) also possibly (Tyree) pronounced, "TIRE" or could be spelt Tyree, TYRE, TYRA, TYRIE, TIRE" and really not sure what is correct? Through verbal communication, things most times get screwed up.

Joseph Preston Kilgore/Martha A. Milton also possibly (Tyree) pronounced, "TIRE" or could be spelt Tyree, TYRE, TYRA, TYRIE, TIRE"
We believe the Milton family adopted her (Martha Tyree) at young age after her parents and family abused and treated her wrong. An English doctor adopted her. When he died (abt. 1898) she reverted back to her old name and moved back with family in ARK.
We believe Joseph born 1844-1848 in Alabama
Mary born 1850 in Arkansas of the Cherokee Nation
By chance would anyone know this information, pictures or where I can get or any leads on:
Joseph Preston Kilgore, b. March 1848 we think, married. 1869 to Martha A. Milton, b. June 1850. There were 10 children 9 born in Arkansas, 1 in Indian Territory, OK. I have 8 names:
1. Jess Kilgore (shot and killed) date unknown.
2. John Kilgore, (d. 1922-1924) m. Willie in Bethel, OK. (Murdered in OK)
3. Martha Elizabeth Kilgore, b. December 13, 1871 m. Samuel Downs.
4. Charles H. Kilgore, b. December 1883, d.?? (shot and killed).
5. Warren M. Kilgore, b. August 1886
6. Dovie J. Kilgore, b. August 1889.
7. Laura Kilgore, B.? Shot and Killed by husband.
8. Melinda Fayetta Kilgore, b. February 8, 1893, m. 1909 to, Charles Edward Clapp then to, Robert Newt Romine in 1916.

When they died so did history and has stumped us over 60 years. Any help would be great.
