Is anyone researching William Tynes and Harriet Bruce(b. 1806) from VA. and then from Carroll Co. Tennesse?
I think that my husband's family are decendents of this couple. They had a daughter, Ann Tynes, another daughter, Mary E.Tynes(b. 1835), a son, Isaac Tynes.
Mary E. married Thomas W. Drummond and eventually setteled in Hinds Co. Mississippi.
I just started researching this family.
