I was looking in Louisiana for my Butler County, Alabama PEAVYs, found a Tynes-Peavy connection in Rapides Parish, LA, and somehow came across the following TINES census entry in Vernon Parish. I recognized the name Wiley Tynes from Butler Co.
Butler Co. Deed Book C p. 241 Wiley TYNES indebted in the amount of $52 to Rachel Brooks.
Sept. 21, 1855 due Jan 1, 1856
The above Rachel Brooks is my gg-gm, Rachel PEAVY Brooks.
