Ken, does the DNA testing rule out Sarah as an ancestor of Richard Tyner (i.e. she could have had other male friends)? The John Harris Will names his children by Sarah, but she could have had others.

There was a close relationship between Richard and the other Tyners (suggesting a family). (Harris Tyner was a witness on a deed of property by Richard Tyner in North Carolina; also, the Tyners (including Richard and Harris) migrated and settled as a group near Ninety-Six South Carolina. He did not migrate to Georgia until after 1773 when a treaty made his area on Coldwater Creek available.

He named his son Harris after his very close friend, and perhaps a half brother.
