Jane, no Ricard Tyner was not a descendent of the Harris family and there is no documentation which prooves such. It was incorrectly assumed by someone that because Richard had a son named Harris Tyner that he therefore was a Harris descendent. DNA testing has further shown this to be an impossibility. However he could have been related to the Harris family by marriage, but there is no proof of that either.
