Elijah Tyner was my 4th Great Grandfather. My Tyner ancestors were:
Elijah Tyner m Frances Gideon; their son, Simeon m. Hester (Esther) Southwell; their son, John J. Tyner m. Mary Josephine ??; their daughter, Pearl Eugenia m. Francis Conrad Bryan on 07 Oct 1896 in Marshallville, GA; their son, John Nathan Bryan m. Elberta O'Berry; their daughter, Rose Elizabeth m. Clifford H. Bretthauer - my father.
I grew up in Miami, FL and many times visited my Great Grandmother Pearl Eugenia Tyner Bryan in a big old frame house in Kissimmee. My mother grew up in Kissimmee, too. Pearl was a school teacher. She died on 22 Oct 1964, and is buried at Rose Hill Cemetary. I have many old photographs that include Pearl Tyner and possibly other Tyners.
I would love to have any Tyner information available, as I don't know very much about the Tyner family and way too much about the Bryans.
