Just posted a public copy of the Tynan geneolgy which I own. I am Grand-Daughter Of Russell Eugene Tynan Of Statin Island, NY. He is son of Elmer Tynan Jr.
The last tynan the geneolgy goes back to is a Michael Stark Tynan 1835-1893 Who married Elizabeth P. Fountain.
I also have a little information of a few surnames which marired to the family.... Fountain which can be traced back to Vincent Fountain 1748-1819. A Frederick Hopkins who married Florence Josephine Tynan (she was born 1882, I have no date for Frederick) They had 5 children and 1 grandson (far as it went on that geneology) And one last one is for a Stephen Joseph Lukasik (1903-1956) who married Mildred Florence Tynan (1902-1979). They had 3 children one of which died at birth. And 4 grandchildren.
If one of these surnames are of your family and you wish for the little information I have I will be more then happy to share.
I'm looking for member's related to myself. Just interested in the family history, photos and getting to know fun personell stories of the family. Curious to see if us Tynan's really are all a like.
