Dear Gerald;
Have you found any more information on Kathryn Tynan Desmond's family? I have obituaries from the Rockford Morning Star for her sisters, (Mary) Jane Tynan and Frances Tynan, and for two of her brothers, Albert John Tynan and William Bernard Tynan. I am looking for information on another brother James Tynan, St. Paul, MN, and on Kathryn, Oak Park, IL. I also have photos of their family plot at St. James & St. Mary Cemetery in Rockford, IL, where her father, Edward Tynan and mother Mary Tynan are buried with Albert, William, Jane, and Frances Tynan.
The Edward and Mary Tynan family is buried about fifty yards from my great-great uncle James Tynan and his family. Edward and Mary also are buried almost right next to uncle James Tynan's in-laws, John and Bridget McLee.
I am wondering whether Edward was related to uncle James Tynan's parents, Patrick and Winnifred Tynan, who lived in Belvidere, IL (which is about 10 miles from Rockford, IL). Another James Tynan also moved to Belvidere, IL, at about the same time Patrick Tynan came to Belvidere and about the same time Edward Tynan came to Rockford, Illinois. Therefore, I wonder whether the three were brothers?
Are you related to/descended from Kathryn Tynan Desmond, Gerald, and do you want to me to e-mail you the obituaries and gravestone photos I have in JPG digital format? Also, do you have any information I can use to link the Tynans?
