Neagh Tynan's come from several sources. I had Tyna relatives living there, but my sister knows best about the geneology, but your family is not related. See my other postings. Tyna relatives named Burke and other live in Nenagh currently, but they come from Tynan of Borrisoleigh of 1880s, not Englnad. I received a note from A Canadian Tynan family about 5 years ago. The Tynan's of their past came from Tipp, most emigrated north to Ulster, and then on to Canada. They moved as the Canadian rail system passed westward. Some in late 1800s went to NY and became the Tynan meat packing group of the US. The Canadian side went west and founded numerous furniture factories across the country with one in Calgary or Edmunton and the to BC. Thus, the sons and daughters of an Ulster Jurist went to US and Canada founding some of the largest early 20th century furniture and meat packing groups of north America. Diaspora from Tipperary and other counties continued from late 1780s to early 1900s. Family members spread out to many places for the Tipperrary Tynan group. There is a large clan from another county that spread out at the same time, but it is too late for me to recall or look for th County name. If I recall, I will post.
