I have been unable to locate the family of Isaac Tyler who is found in the 1774 Newport, RI census. He is listed with a wife, 1 dtr, 3 sons. I have documentation about his privateer activity and commission by George Washington as master of the Spitfire Row Galley in the Rev War.
It is my belief that Solomon Tyler, born 1772 Newport, RI, is one of the 3 sons of Isaac Tyler.

Solomon Tyler b 1772 d 1828 off Nantucket shoal (shipwreck)
married Larana Mason daughter of Edward Mason and Elizabeth Paine.
William J Tyler b 1803 m Louisa Fay
Laura Tyler b 1805 m Samuel Greene, son of William Greene
and Phoebe Manton
Mary Olney Tyler b 1808 m 1) Lewis Thomas 2) George W
Gilman son of Nathaniel
Emily L Tyler b 1810 m Daniel Mason
Solomon Mason Tyler b 1815 m Abby Chafee
Edward Mason Tyler b 1817 m Eliza Ingall
Daniel Mason Tyler b 1819 m 1)Rosilla Wilmarth 2) Ruth
Sprague
Suggestions would be appreciated.
