WOOD Eileen Annie 1917-2008 Our mother, Eileen Annie Wood (nee Tyler) passed away peacefully in Vancouver on her 91st birthday, January 9, 2008. She leaves to mourn her children, Brian (Barbara), Lorraine, Diane (Sam), Nancy (Ed), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. Eileen was born in Hamilton, Ontario on January 9, 1917 ; and is survived by her brothers Ken and Ron (Cathy) and sister-in-law Mary (Ron). She was predeceased by her loving husband Arthur, daughter Mary, parents Nellie and Harold, sisters Joy and Monica and brother Eric. The funeral service will take place at St. Helen's Anglican Church, 4405 W. 8th Ave, Vancouver, B.C. at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 2nd, 2008 with Rev. Brian Vickers officiating. Interment will be in St. Helen's Memorial Garden. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Bible Society, the Salvation Army or a charity of your choice. As we celebrate Mom's life she will be remembered as a loving friend to many.
