I am not researching these people, just have many books on the area. I put a different message in the Tyre froum. From the book "Abstracts of Charles County Maryland Court and Land Records, 1665-1695, Volume 2" by Elise Greenup Jourdan, is the following:
"Liber F, page 216 - 8 Aug 1676; Indenture from James Tyer, Gent., to Maj. John Duglas, Gent.; for 10,000# tobacco; a parcel of land given unto my uncle John Bowles and James Tyre by our kinsman William Bowles by will 14 Feb 1662; signed by James Tyer; wit. Robert Heroitt, Henry Hardy."
There are a few other listings for these people.
