Hi
You do not knowhow excited I was to see your posting. We are connected through your gr.grandfather.His name was actually WIlliam Wallace Tye and he was b. 3 oct. 1899 and d. 7 Apr. 1925.He married Florence Luddington on 9 Dec 1919.
They had three children-
Mary Catherine Tye , George Wallace Tye & Jennie LenoreTye.
William Wallace Tye was the son of Jenny Wilmoth & George Tye.
Jenny Wimoth was the sister to my grandfather Nelson Bernard Wilmoth.
I have been researching the Wilmoth family for many many years, trying to find any one connected. My grandfather (Nelson Bernard Wilmoth b. 1887) when we was about 4 years old, was brought from Nova Scotia toMassachusetts by his oldest sister Margaret Wilmoth. He was told his parents had died.Actually, his mother had died but his father was still alive.Your Gr. gr. grandmother Jenny Wilmoth and my grandfather were the children of William & Isabella (Hyndman) WIlmoth/Wimot
They had 7children in all.
I can give you information on the Wilmoths & Hyndman line, plus Ihavejust made contact with a man connected to your Tye line, whom I am surewould be of help to you.
Looking forward to hearing from you
Jill Goodwin Palmer
