Is it coincidence- I answered the same query from a John M recently.
May I ask - why this interest ?
I have only one C A Tydeman in my 1000 name Tydeman data base :
Clarke (or Charles) Arthur Tydeman born 1888 in Twickenham, with ancestry going back to the 17th century
In the 1901 census he is living in Teddington with his widowed mother, whose occupation is given as "Mission Hall Caretaker"
There is also a World War I service record in the National Archives showing that he was a corporal in the Middlesex, Royal Fusiliers & Royal Engineers regiments. ( I don't understand how this would happen)
This could be the one, but no real evidence.
