Hello there,

I'll try and fill in the gaps here if I can.

Robert Tyas b Carcroft 1804/5 d. Conisbrough, buried May 25th 1873, married Elizabeth Maxfield at Barnby Dun on 28th May 1826. Robert was a blacksmith as was his Grandfather. In 1861 he lived at 21 Westgate in 1871 at 84 West Street and 212 Brook Hill in 1871, all in Conisbrough. They had 10 children,

Thomas b 1827
Ann b 1830
William Christopher b 1831, d 1831.
George b1832
Jane b1835
John b1837
Benjamin b1839
Joseph b1839
Elizabeth b1841 d1860
Mary b1845

Their 6th child John.

John Tyas b.1837 Adwick le street d. Conisbrough 25th Feb 1911, married Annie Ellen b1849 d 20th April 1926. This information is on their headstone in Conisbrough Cem. not the Church.

John and Annie Ellen had 8 children,

John b1870
Albert Edward b1872
Walter b1875
Robert b1876
Annie Ellen b1878
Florence b & d 1880
Wilfred b1893
John and Annie Ellen lived at 125 Holywell Terrace, Conisbrough in 1871, 6 Lime Grove in 1881, in 1885 daughter Jane was married from 29 Wellington St Conisbrough and from around 1896 to 1900 John was a glassblower and living at 17 Burcroft Hill Conisbrough.
Descendants of this family still lived on Burcroft Hill in the 1980s.
