They appear in our 1880 Young County census.
William Newbold, 49, England
Rhoda E. Newbold, 29, IL
James W. Newbold, 6, AR
Susan M. Newbold, 8, AR

They have enrolled their children in school in the 1884 census
J.W. Newbold, 10 years, male
Susie M. Newbold, 12 years, female
living in the house of William M. Newbold

They are living in the Mount Pleasant community of Young County by the 1884 School census.

William Newbolds patents land in Young County ca. 1880 in the Medlan's Chapel area near Mount Pleasant.

William Newbold seems to sell his land in 1885 and move away from Young County since I don't notice his name in any of our school census or newspaper accounts.
