I am desparately trying to find PROOF that Capt John (J C)Calaway CRABB was the son of James Burton CRABB and Rachel [JONES] for a 76 year old descendant whose dream is to join the Sons of the American Revolution.
He has everything he needs except proof that John Calaway Crabb was their son.
We all know that J C was their son but the SAR wants a legal document, a Bible page, a deed, a will, etc specifically acknowledging it.
I have research done buy his nephew and my GG-uncle (1849-1945) who personally knew John Calaway Crabb and his parents but the SAR will not accept his notes as proof.
Please, if you have anything that references a kinship between John Calaway Crabb (1826-1862) and other Crabbs will you please share it with us??
