seeking 1st marriage of Elizabeth [ENGLISH] 1890-1901 ??

I am trying to find a marriage for Elizabeth [English] b 1875 probably in or near Rains, Wood, or Hunt county.
She was the daughter of Mrs Mary Sarah [Godbold] Maloney & her 2nd husband, Smith English who married 15 Nov 1874 in Hunt Co Tx.
I believe Elizabeth may have 1st married "Mr Unknown" somewhere between Rains Co Tx and Uvalde Co Tx as I can find no record of her as "Elizabeth [English] in the 1900 Tx or Ca census and her mother, stepfather, and 5 siblings were all living in Uvalde Co Tx in 1900.
I have searched FTM CD #398 and FTM CD #5 and do not find her as a bride but these marriage CD's do not include every county.
I found her 2nd husband, Fred B. Hargis, single and living with his parents in 1900 Santa Clara Co Ca and I found Fred and Elizabeth married, no chn, and living in San Francisco in 1920
This is why I feel pretty certain she was married in Tx by 1900 as she was 25 years old then and I can't find any record of her in 1900 under her maiden name, English.
If anyone could lead me to a source for other early Tx marriages, I would be deeply grateful. Elizabeth and her father seem to have been figments of her siblings imaginations but I know they aren't - just so elusive!!!
I'm pretty sure that Elizabeth had 1 or 2 other given names as all of her 5 siblings had 2-3 given names.
