Thank you for your reply. After I left that message I did went over to family tree maker's website and found a lot on the LaRues. I found out the first one to have the name LaRue was Abraham LaRue (LeRoux). I quess he was the one that did a name change. He was born in 1664 and died 1712. His wife was Magdelaine Gille born in 1663 died in 1689. Abraham's father was also named Abraham but he went by LeRoux. The last LeRoux I came across was Bertolet LeRoux b.abt. 1530. But I have yet to come across Henrietta LaRue's maiden name. Thank you for the other names though, I haven't gone that direction yet.
