From: "Bruce Woody

"My g-g-grandfather, Samuel WOODY
Jr., with his new wife Mary Emeline BREAZEALE, stayed behind (in TN.) for two more
years to clean up some family debts and left for Texas on a raft in
September 1850".

Samuel Jr. Woody was the son of Samuel Woody and Hannah Woody married on 3-27-1817 in Roane Co. TN. and were members of the Cave Creek Baptist Church in the 1840s as was Samuel Jr.

You might look in the Roane Co., TN. census about 1840 for BREAZEALE families.

Good Luck. Michael
