Sherrifs of Wise County & Skinner Family in Wise County

I have so little to go on here and sure can use help!

There was supposedly a Skinner family in Wise County years ago. I don't even know the first name of the fellow, but understand he was a sherrif there. This Skinner clan would have been in Arkansas prior to moving to Texas.

Does anyone have a list of the past sherrifs?

Does anyone know about any SKINNERs who lived in Wise County in late 1800s or early 1900s? According to the census records there was, in 1890, an "E Skinner" (farmer). No other SKINNERs show up until the 1930 census, and then there are two: Archie Skinner (construction foreman) and Tom Skinner(buys poultry).

Thanks much... Mae Cox in Oklahoma
