Hi Vonda,
My gr-gr-grandfather was Preston Walker (m. Sarah Smith) from Coles Co., IL. They moved to Audubon, Wise Co., TX just before 1855 and were early pioneers. What is odd about this is that we participated in the Walker DNA study. At that time, we did not link to any Walkers but we linked strongly to the Stewarts. I haven't looked at this info in about 4 years tho so some of the details are sketchy. I've finally had a slow summer and thought I'd get online and see what was new with some of the lines I have been researching. If your Stewarts were in IL and traveled to Wise Co. in the mid-1800's, it makes me curious...

Karen
