Hi,
I don't think we are researching the same Thompson line. My line originated in VA. with Elijah
Thompson. He married Annis Hood in 1808 in Greene Co. TN. They moved to Cass Co. MO. in
1830. Both Annis and Elijah died in Cass Co. The family moved to Texas in the 1850's and
1860's. My line settled in Wise Co. William was a pastor of the Hopewell Baptist Church near
Alvord and is buried in the Hopewell cemetery. His wife Rosanna (Murry) Thompson moved
To Oklahoma and is buried in a cemetery there. If you think we are of the same line, I have
tons of Thompson information and would love to share.
Sandy
