I am researching my family line and have found that my 3rd great-grandfather, David McLAIN and his wife, Minerva WIGGINTON had lived in Wise County,Texas and died there. David was born in 1814, North Carolina and died 1885,Wise County,Texas. Minerva was born in 1816,Tennessee and died 1875 in Newark/Old Odessa, Wise County,Texas. I have some info on these two and their children and I will share with those who are also searching. Please contact me through my email address as I do not check this board often.
