Hi,
My gg grandfather and gg grandmother were early settlers of Wise Co, also. He was William Thompson, and he organized the Hopewell Baptist Church in Alvord in 1873 and was the Pastor there for 12 years. His wife was Rosanna. They had several children, and Henry was also a Baptist minister and was my great granfather. His wife was Georgia. I have found them on a 1880 census living with William and Rosanna. I would be interested to know if any of my Thompson family is in your book.
My email is: sandetm@nvbell.net
Thank you
Sandy
