Carolyn, since my last message to you I have come across some information that might mean that Thomason might have been Thompson. In the 1880 census of Wise County TX there is a William Thompson listed. He is shown to be a minister and his wife is Rosanna. They have 2 sons, James age 14 and Thomas age 12. This would be the right age for the Tom Thomason I am searching for. William also had a brother that was a minister. I have heard stories that some of Tom,s family were ministers. The census shows that both sons were born in MO. and that William, his wife Rosanna and His brother were all born in TN. The MO angle also fits in with some stories I have heard. Would you mind checking to see if you can find these people and if they were still in that area in early 1892. Any help would be appreciated. POLLY THOMASON redbee305@aol.com
