This may be too late for you, as few people seem look at or use this message board because of the log-in necessary to post messages I think.

However, Union Valley Cemetery is located on Farm Road FM 1681, which connects Texas Hwy. 123 to Texas Hwy. 97 at Nixon. Going toward Nixon on FM 1681, you should find the cemetery just up the road as you pass through Union Valley according to the directions given in a book on Wilson County cemeteries. Or you could stop in any town in Wilson County and ask at the funeral home where the cemetery is. They can give you directions as it is still in active use.

King Holstein (10 Sept. 1817 -- 23 Jan. 1873) is buried in Union Valley Cemetery. His "grave was moved from the Holstein Cemetery on the Clear Fork [creek] by Rock Bridge - by Meyers Funeral Home (now Finch Funeral Home, Stockdale)."

This information is found on page 353 of the book "Cemeteries of Wilson County, Texas" by Irma M. Meyr, published about 1990. I am not familiar with the location of the place named as Rock Bridge and I have never been to the cemetery.

Hope this helps you.
