You might also check Fairmount Cem in town and Lawnhaven on the outskirts. There is also a cemetary in Grape Creek. I can see if I can find the name. There are also a number of small cemetaries around San Angelo according to the community he died in. Might call Suzanne at the West Tx Collection at ASU for some more tips or a possible lookup. He would have been close to the Water Valley Cemetary, often it's cheaper to be buried in a small local cem. rather than a large one. I think the Water Valley Cem. is listed online. Maybe also according to that description, is he even buried in Tom Green Co? Mertzon is s.west as well as Tankersly. Just some thoughts.
