I have found a little more information on the Stephen F. Evans family of Taylor, Texas. Stephen Evans and his wife, Mary Gross Evans, are interred in the Taylor City Cemetery, Block 6, Lot, 1st Addition, spaces 1-12. Stephen was buried 6/26/1924 and Mary Evans was buried 12/20/1942. Louis Evans was buried 10/29/1958. Daughter, Birdie Evans and her husband, Jack Carswell, are also interred in this cemetery. A son, Thomas, was buried 1/7/1921. I have not located Pearl, Frank and Nolie(?). Would like to correspond with anyone having information on the family. Stephen Evans' grandfather was named Louis Massey. Louis Massey was the father of Stephen's mother, Mary Ann Massey Evans. After Stephen's father, Eli Evans, passed away, Mary Ann Massey Evans married Peterson H. Grammer of Lincoln Co., Tennessee.
