My ancestors settled in Shiloh, TX - near Beaukiss and Thrall.
various census records have them living in Post Oak Island P.O., Shiloh, Thrall, Beaukiss and Copeland, TX.

My SMITH branch is through my grandmother's side,
Lillian Juanita ECKMAN GUENTZEL.
Lillian's mother was Ida Mae SMITH ECKMAN.
Ida's parents were James Washington SMITH and Lula Florence SIMMONS SMITH.
James Washington SMITH's Parents were Stephen H. SMITH
and Eliza SIDES SMITH.
Eliza's parents were George SIDES and Amelia Mary LEONARD SIDES.
My grandmother Lillian's father was Samuel Gordon ECKMAN.
Samuel's parents were Daniel Webster ECKMAN and Susan Rebecca BLACKBURN CURTIS ECKMAN.
My grandfather was Arbie Edmund GUENTZEL. His parents were Robert Ervin GUENTZEL and "Delzie" CALDER.
Ervin's parents were Elias Valentine GUENTZEL
and Johanna W DREIER.
Many of the above are buried at Lawrence Chapel Cemetery, near Shiloh, TX ... which includes some of the parents of those listed above. Others are buried at the GUENTZEL Cemetery.
