Nathan Brinkley was my great grandfather. Born 12/16/1833 in Warrenn County, Georgia. Married Jane Terrel Darby in Shell Pond Florida 6/26/1859. Came to Texas with Jane Darby's sister to Titus County near Mt. Pleasaqnt in 1872 and one later moived to Georgetown, TX. He did not serve in the confederate army but was in the Indian Wars in Florida. The tombstone was put up by the Daughters of the Confederacy. He had 3 children the youngest was my grandmother Ollie Clifford who married John Foster McCann in 1888 and they had 10 children the youngest born in 1909 is my father, who is still alive at 94. If there is other information I do not have any information on his ancestors. I live about 6 miles form Union Hill Cemetery.
