By now you may have found what you wanted, if not, death certificates for Chester and his two daughters show they died in a auto/truck accident 1 mi N Raymondville on US hiway 77. It must have been horrific as all died instantly and were partially or completely crushed.

Chester's name is listed as Chester Earl Buel on his and daughters DCs, informant was Betty Buell. On little daughter's DC the informant is listed as C.E. Buel, so I would say his middle name was Earl.

His headstone, on Find a Grave, shows C. Earl Jr. Maybe he went by Earl????

Happy Hunting (^_^)
